9th Hangover - I'm Real ☠☠☠☠ [Call | Everyone]

[After a confusing conversation with a strange young man. The Captain is putting out a call to the town.]

"Okay people, I got a question. Who here has read comic books back home?"

[The Captain is sure the guy was just crazy. Mostly sure.]

Too bad his comic is a one shot run of 9 comics.

Yeah, if we had super heroes this would have all gone to ☠☠☠☠ long ago.

And thanks kid. I guess that means something.
abravelikehero: (normal)

And not silver age. :c

[personal profile] abravelikehero 2010-11-25 04:46 am (UTC)(link)
You could always start it yourself, I hear that's popular lately.

Nope,it was a sorta protest, The Captain is all original.

[identity profile] heartstar-blues.livejournal.com 2010-11-25 04:50 am (UTC)(link)
No, I'm good without marketing. Thanks anyways.
abravelikehero: (sigh)

What would he think about the comics available in Mayfeild?

[personal profile] abravelikehero 2010-11-25 04:58 am (UTC)(link)
Modest! I think I would be too. Even though I admire Sir Aurum very much, and want to be just like him, I don't think I could ever handle all the stuff there is about him if it were me.

Of course, I could never be as great as Sir Aurum, even trying to be like him is an impossible dream....

What ones are available?

[identity profile] heartstar-blues.livejournal.com 2010-11-25 05:03 am (UTC)(link)
Then don't try to be like him. Try to be your own ☠☠☠☠.

I'm not going to be an Avenger or beat Captain America in a fight but I still helped take down Beyond.
abravelikehero: (sad)

I think all the ones that would be found in America during the 1950s?

[personal profile] abravelikehero 2010-11-25 05:08 am (UTC)(link)
My own.... Maybe if I had my title I could aspire to be something....

Haha, he's stupid and avoids books of all sorts. Someone should push him towards them.

[identity profile] heartstar-blues.livejournal.com 2010-11-25 05:11 am (UTC)(link)
Title? Can't you just call yourself something?
abravelikehero: (Default)

Oh man, the comic book store is Almaz' new favourite place of all time!

[personal profile] abravelikehero 2010-11-25 05:14 am (UTC)(link)
No way! You need a proper title for a class description. Though, the field has been blank since I got here. And even if it wasn't... my hero title was taken away. I wasn't able to get it back yet.

It will end so poorly.

[identity profile] heartstar-blues.livejournal.com 2010-11-25 05:17 am (UTC)(link)
Don't worry kid, you'll get it back.

I know how hard it is to get a cool name. I tried all sorts of names. I was Captain Marvel once, but who wasn't? I ended up having to pay some crazy melon farmer to get the name The Captain.
abravelikehero: (determined)

Those are usually the most amusing though.

[personal profile] abravelikehero 2010-11-25 05:20 am (UTC)(link)
You had to buy your title!? That must have been so frustrating. I made mine, it took a lot of work but I spent my days off working really hard on it. And then when I finished it, I took time off to go defeat the Overlord!

Yeah they are

[identity profile] heartstar-blues.livejournal.com 2010-11-25 06:16 am (UTC)(link)
Nice, see. You're pretty ☠☠☠☠ yourself.

My name was a pain in the ☠☠☠☠. I was scraping bottom of the barrel there for a while. I was going by Captain Kerosene for a while but someone already had that name.

See, being a super hero is pretty tough.
abravelikehero: (sigh)

[personal profile] abravelikehero 2010-11-25 06:23 am (UTC)(link)
It sounds incredibly hard.

[identity profile] heartstar-blues.livejournal.com 2010-11-26 01:15 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah. I made the mistake of being bitter and telling Captain America I was Captain ☠☠☠☠.
abravelikehero: (Default)

[personal profile] abravelikehero 2010-11-26 04:59 am (UTC)(link)
That... that seems like a bad idea to say something like that.

[identity profile] heartstar-blues.livejournal.com 2010-11-26 07:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, long story short I woke up some time later in a dumpster with a ☠☠☠☠ of a headache and a bar of soap shoved in my mouth.

[identity profile] heartstar-blues.livejournal.com 2010-11-26 08:09 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, Captain America is your typical good guy. Though he is also able to back it up by being the top dog.
abravelikehero: (sad)

[personal profile] abravelikehero 2010-11-26 08:14 pm (UTC)(link)
I-is that really how heroes act in your world?

[It's like a little kids ideals were just crushed.]

[identity profile] heartstar-blues.livejournal.com 2010-11-26 08:54 pm (UTC)(link)
No, we are all different. We are all human... well some of us are human.

Captain America just is the ideal. He can beat anyone in the end and he doesn't back down from his ideals.

[personal profile] abravelikehero 2010-11-26 09:11 pm (UTC)(link)
B-but, a hero shouldn't hurt someone who didn't do anything wrong. Regardless of what they might have said.... Heroes should be good examples! And help people, and with the power of love and justice save the innocent people of the world!

[identity profile] heartstar-blues.livejournal.com 2010-11-26 09:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Real life isn't always like that kid. The bad guys aren't just evil, some of them are just crazy and confused or don't even understand they are doing wrong.

You still have to curb stomp them for the good of others.
abravelikehero: (Default)

[personal profile] abravelikehero 2010-11-26 09:34 pm (UTC)(link)
I guess that's sort of like demons. I always thought they were evil, but they don't seem that different from humans.

Was beating you up for the good of others? I don't really get it.

[identity profile] heartstar-blues.livejournal.com 2010-11-26 09:36 pm (UTC)(link)
I think he was just trying to teach me a lesson.

Like super heroes shouldn't curse or something, or at least not to him. Dunno, I never really ☠☠☠☠ liked him anyways.
abravelikehero: (Default)

[personal profile] abravelikehero 2010-11-26 10:11 pm (UTC)(link)
And he had to be that rough? I hope I never have to be taught a lesson like that.
I have to admit it's a bit much to do that gratuitously, it also makes for higher age restrictions.

[identity profile] heartstar-blues.livejournal.com 2010-11-26 11:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, sometimes I'm glad I work with people with looser rules. Imagine having to be working for that guy?
