[So, the fight against the Postman ended as these fights always do.

Still, long after it was over. Long after the pain has faded from memory. The Captain was still no where to be found! About a week later The Captain finally reappears. First with a phone call.]

The Postman is a lot tougher than he seems and he's a ☠☠☠☠.

Also, ☠☠☠☠ it. Unless your name is Elsa Bloodstone, I work alone. Don't bother calling me, I'm not going to be here.

[The Captain heads to his favorite place to escape, the bar. Though he stands outside it for a long moment before changing his mind and walking away.

He'll wander aimlessly around town. His eventual destination is Makeout Point since it's a nice view. Sitting up there and watching the town as he tries to think.]

A kid, who is a super hero back in her world, kept bugging me so I let her come along and included her when I decided to attack the Postman.

I told her if the Postman didn't go down in the first hit, or if Grady appeared, to get out. She can teleport so I figured she'd have a chance.

The plan kinda worked even... the Postman went down hard. I crushed and mangled him pretty good.

I don't know, dying's not easy. I crushed the Postman, Grady showed up and she just ☠☠☠☠ waved at him until he froze us. Then the Postman got up looking like a broken corpse.

He fixed himself and made her take all the damage. I hit the ☠☠☠☠ with a car and buried him in rubble and twisted metal. She had to feel all of that before she died...

Yeah, Grady didn't even do anything. He just froze us and left us to the Postman. I didn't know the Postman could do that.

I bet she's not taking this well. I've learned my lesson, from here on out I don't take people with me. ☠☠☠☠ working with others, it's not worth it.

There's a balance Captain, between fear, bravery and sheer stupidity. Yes, there's sometimes where you just gotta go for it, but sometimes you have to step back and think.
