38th Hangover - Aftermath [Morning of the 4th]

[Coming to from that nightmare wasn't pretty. It took him a long, and sleepless night to really even figure out all that happened.

He picks up the phone. Ready to give another one of his angry rants.]

You know what? ☠☠☠☠ it. Never mind.

[Just lets the phone drop. If you listen closely you might hear him grumble about the bar.

He's not coming back to it to answer any calls.]


[Action!]

[You can catch him leaving his house or in route to the bar as he walks down the sidewalk. At least he's not hallucinating.

At the bar, he gets finds a nice spot to sit by himself and orders himself a bottle.]

I was fine. I didn't even get a letter. ... I was really worried about everyone, though. You -- You were OK, right?

Some of those guys were probably put in a tough spot. Not saying they all should be forgiven but don't blame everyone yet.

[Lucas is quiet for a few moments before he nods with a small smile.]

I... I've known that people can be selfish. That they can make mistakes. That they can do terrible things. This doesn't change how I feel.

[Well that's not going to happen either, but at least he'll confine himself to indoors in a certain building.]

[Lucas will quietly wave back before directing his table to continue along on its path to the store. The Captain was getting a super-colorful card tomorrow, that was for sure.]
