How did you get your powers? Do you have a cool origin story? Do you have an arch nemesis? Do you work in a team or are you a lone fighter of justice?

Oh, yeah. Uh. Real cool origin story.

I worked with a team. We beat our nemesis. He was a ☠☠☠☠. An invincible dinosaur who hates humans because monkey used to ride him and embarrass him. We put him in a bit metal ball, kicked him off the 51st stated and blew him up.

But it's similar right? Because none of the stories I've read so far have been similar to Sir Aurum or any of the stories I read back home.

As for my origin story, uh.

I got my powers from a couple of little green aliens. It's called the Heart Star. It's magic.

And nothing else happened. Nothing at all.

Also, yes I am serious. I couldn't make this ☠☠☠☠ up. He had all sorts of crazy stuff. Like naked ninja's, giant psychic baby heads, broccoli men, you name it.

I'm real though. I was just a guy before I got the powers. The magic to fly, to be almost impossible to kill and to punch things really hard.

I can't be a super soldier like Captain America. Or a radioactive roid rage ☠☠☠☠ like The Hulk. Or born with it like the X-Men and other mutant wack jobs in tights.

But the flying stat is one of the best, you can move past enemies without them blocking you.

I'm not crazy, I just bought them this past week. But if they are successful and famous heroes, why wouldn't they have a comic about them? Sir Aurum is a famous super hero from my world, and he has comics and video games, and anime, and statues, and all sorts of stuff about him.!

Well everyone loves ☠☠☠☠ Captain America. Well Americans do, not so sure about Germans or Russians.

There was quite a bit of Captain America stuff I noticed, so that's probably true. But are you sure they aren't famous? I mean, they're heroes right? Heroes are famous. Successful ones at least.

I am pretty sure the others aren't. I don't know what sort of place you come from but back home being a hero doesn't mean people like you. The X-men weren't quite human so people hate them for it. There was something going on with politics and having them hunted, I don't know I don't pay much attention to that ☠☠☠☠.

So wait, you've heard of them but not Nextwave?

Back home only demons seemed to not really like heroes. Though... I still think Mao really likes them, even if he says he doesn't. Being persecuted does sound pretty complicated. It really is a different kind of world here.

Not that I saw at the store, but maybe that comes out a different week?

Yeah, the world isn't like comic books. Superman isn't going to fly in and fix everything. It's gritty and pretty complex. People are real, living their lives and trying to get by and trying to keep something new from ending all life.

... How would I know? I'm not a comic.

Don't worry, I'll keep an eye out. I plan on going in ever week on delivery day, so if it ever comes in I'll tell you.

Modest! I think I would be too. Even though I admire Sir Aurum very much, and want to be just like him, I don't think I could ever handle all the stuff there is about him if it were me.

Of course, I could never be as great as Sir Aurum, even trying to be like him is an impossible dream....

I'm not going to be an Avenger or beat Captain America in a fight but I still helped take down Beyond.

I think all the ones that would be found in America during the 1950s?

No way! You need a proper title for a class description. Though, the field has been blank since I got here. And even if it wasn't... my hero title was taken away. I wasn't able to get it back yet.

I know how hard it is to get a cool name. I tried all sorts of names. I was Captain Marvel once, but who wasn't? I ended up having to pay some crazy melon farmer to get the name The Captain.

Those are usually the most amusing though.

You had to buy your title!? That must have been so frustrating. I made mine, it took a lot of work but I spent my days off working really hard on it. And then when I finished it, I took time off to go defeat the Overlord!
